There paintings of a pair of tigers "Mukae Tora'' (male tiger on the right) and "Okuri Tora'' (female tiger on the left) were derived from the loss of Kokura Castle in 1866 (Keio Year 2) which was the year of the tiger. Please come and appriiciate the powerful touch of brushwork on the biggest two paintings of this kind (4.7m high X 2.9wide each) in Japan.
Ascending and descending chairs for handicapped persons and aged persons are established in each floor totally 7. *supporting persons are needed to use.
